WALLYE – a US startup focused on making premium travel accessories for the hardcore nerd, has announced a new stretch goal for it’s KickStarter campaign.

While previously Wallye raised more than its goal of 6,000 USD, Wallye wanted to offer the opportunity to bring prices of their bag/cases down but that of course requires larger bulk orders.  The new goal is $30K and should drop prices a good bit.  Let’s take a look at some of the products on the kickstarter:

Wallye has a collection of products under the Tactic subbrand which include:

  • Mechanical Keyboard Bag – coming in Ten Key Less, as well as Full Size versions, they offer protection and storage while not wasting space. It is made from special materials to allow for velcro straps to be attached inside for cable management.  There are also options to add straps.  The price was $55 for the TKL version, but that drops to $45 if the goal is met.

  • Compression and Wash bag

These general purpose bags can be used to store anything. From toiletries to clothing to headphones.

  • Duffle Bag v2

The accessories are cool, but for the real hardcore you aren’t just carrying your mouse keyboard and deoderent to a LAN, you also want to bring your rig.  The Duffle Bag v2 is reconfigurable and let’s you easily and safely bring your SFF PC, laptop, monitor or camera gear to any event. Being plain black makes it dual purpose and suitable for work as well as play.  Its is made from durable, rain resistant materials made for everyday use.

Thanks to a modular padding plate, you can configure the Duffle to do many things. Carry a camera and gear, carry a camera and clothing or whatever you want.

If you want to carry a PC, the Duffle can do that too! The modular padding is designed to fit best with:

  • DAN A4
  • NCASE M1
  • NFC Skyreach 4 Mini
  • Apple eGPU, Razer Core and other eGPU docks
  • Any desktop PC smaller than 47x29x21cm

There have been plenty of times we’ve had to travel with a PC and this seems like it would certainly make that easier.  We would recommend adding the backpack straps if you are planning on carrying a PC.  With the stretch goal the price of that version drops from $180 to $140.  Because Wallye is near to its goal of (27K/30K right now) then we would expect them to start shipping its products.
