Kingston have updated their previous Cloud gaming headset with the new “Cloud II”:

The box looks great and goes over the features clearly:

The major change from the original cloud is that it now includes a USB front end with 7.1 support. The new in line remote which houses the 7.1 DSP and volume/mute controls is featured on the front of the box. The look and construction however of the headphones themselves is very similar to the old model.

Now while this is 7.1 surround sound, the USB sound card downconverts that to two 53mm drivers. One in each ear.

On opening the box, we see that the headphone is packaged beautifully:
