Finish

The black UT60 is finished in a satin black paint. I have come to expect the finish quality on Alphacool radiators to not be 100% perfect and the review sample was no different with small imperfections in the finish – like grit that was on the surface prior to painting. Apart from these small blemishes the paint job is smooth and unscratched. The radiator feels solid and weighty with nothing loose or rattling. The joins on the tank ends all look clean and well done.

Features

As with all Alphacool radiators, there is a protective plate to help prevent damage to the core from using wrong length screws when installing fans. The inlet and outlet tanks each have 3 ports, making the UT60 the most versatile radiator to install into pretty much any position in your case and still leaves you with options for a fill port and or drain port.

On the opposite end is another G ¼ port intended to be used for bleeding air from the radiator and possibly as a fill port also if the radiator is mounted vertically.

Fin Spacing was quite uniform up and down the tubes.
