The lighting circuit is probably the most advanced we’ve seen in any reservoir. It’s controlled by two tiny buttons that poke out through the thick faceplate. One controls brightness (maximum, minimum and off), while the other changes the light color. Here are side by side shots of the the two brightness settings shot with the same camera settings in normal daylight:

Here are the color options:

Green:

Light blue:

Dark Blue:

Purple-ish:

White-ish:

Red:

Orange:

Yellow:

As can be seen the blue LED always seems to be a bit stronger than the red and the green so colors like white, purple and yellow are all a bit more blue then they should be. Still it’s really nice to have so many options for once, and be able to change at the push of a button!

Next up – Performance!

  1. You didnt cover the fact that the pump pickup (like most of the dual bay res’) is in the middle which renders half of the res capacity useless. I was going to get this res before i caught on to that so instead picked up a koolance rp452x2.
P.S love the website, keep it up.
