Today we will be reviewing In Win‘s unusual H-Frame Mini.  This is a mini ITX case that is following In Win’s shift to premium “designer” cases – as always a big thanks to In Win for providing this review sample!

So we get a clue on the box as to what it’s going to look like – but what else can it support apart from mini ITX cases which now range from tiny to large (CaseLabs S3).
DSC_1206As usual from In Win – we see Aluminum used which we love – keeping it strong but lightweight.  We also see that it includes a 180W internal power supply, and it can mount 2×2.5″ drives and one slim optical drive.
DSC_1208We also have some front mount audio and USBs as well as an optional included glass side panel!
DSC_1198The back of the box could probably have contained a few more pictures about the case!
DSC_1201The side does at least show us more detail on the funky sides.
DSC_1210Lastly we have some stickers that clarify some other features – such as again that only a low profile PCI card is supported and that the chassis is “open-air”.  Let’s get it opened up then!

Opening up the box reveals a bag including instructions and some accessories:

DSC_1211To the side was a power cable while underneath the instructions is the case itself and the optional glass panel:

DSC_1213The case has plenty of protection in case of the box being mishandled!  The case itself is wrapped in a sort of soft touch canvas bag.  The glass panel on the other hand is not wrapped.
DSC_1214The glass is tempered and has a hole drilled in each corner:

DSC_1215The instructions are multi lingual

DSC_1230They are plenty detailed though.  The accessories come with spares – for example this is what we had leftover *after* installing everything in the case:
DSC_1635Two cable management clamps were provided here, but we never felt a need to use them.  In addition the white plastic “thing” is a tool used to remove the hex nuts that secure the side panels.  While a wrench could be used, this ensures that you don’t scratch them up and is a nice touch.

Now let’s take a look at the bare case itself!
