Alphacool NexXxos XT45 360mm Radiator Review
The intention of this write up is to provide information and performance data about the Alphacool NexXxos XT45 360mm Radiator for inclusion in the Extreme Rigs Rad Round Up 2015. I’ll be keeping the review section short and factual, focusing on presenting the performance data compiled through the numerous tests carried out.
What’s in the box?
The XT45 packaging is consistent with other radiators in the Alphacool range. They really have done a great job in ensuring that the radiator has every possible chance of arriving to the purchaser in the best possible condition.
I really like that the accessories are placed in a separate box at one end of the package.
Alphacool state that the following is included with delivery:
4x screw plug
12x M3x30mm hexagon socket screw
12x M3x35mm hexagon socket screw
Which is exactly what was in the box I had.
NOTE: It may be possible the screws provided for fan attachment differ from those pictured below. This XT45 sample was from my own stockpile, but Alphacool kindly supplied samples of their other radiators for inclusion in the round up. In those presumably newer stock samples that Alphacool supplied, the screws were black, not the copper as pictured here.
The 4 port plugs and screws are all copper. These will and do tarnish with age, however they can be painted or coated easily with spray cans in acrylic lacquer or color. Again, newer stock may have a different finish, as other Alphacool models were received with port plugs which have a ”black nickel” finish.
Onwards to technical specifications!
